Vrela Cetina is an area covering an area of almost 30 hectares, protected since 1971 as a hydrological monument. There are a number of karst sources here. The three main ones: Veliko Vrilo, Vuković Vrilo and Batića Vrilo lie on the edge of the Paszko field, at the foot of the Dinara mountain range. All sources delight the people who come here with the transparency of the water and its original blue-green color.
Near the sources is the oldest church in Croatia, the Church of the Holy Salvation. The temple and belfry were built in pre-Romanesque style in the 9th century. Next to the church there is a cemetery with graves (traditional stone tombstones) from the 14th and 15th centuries.
In addition to ordinary tourists, Vrela Cetina is also frequented by divers. Lovers of this sport are attracted not only by the crystal clear water, but also by the great depth and underground corridors.
