Local name: Обрадовски манастир Св. вмчк Мина

The monastery is located on the bank of the Vladajska Reka River, in the former village of Obradovtsi, which is now a district of Sofia. In the years 1942-1945 a monastery church was built, and in the following years residential buildings and several smaller chapels. In the chapel dedicated to St. Kosma and Damian have a spring which is attributed with miraculous properties.

There are icons in the church painted by Georgia Bogdanov. The main altar was made by Mircho Radulov and Kosta Dinoev. In the vestibule, you can see a miraculous icon depicting the patron saint of the monastery, St. I will pass.

According to the legend, the first monastery was founded in this place in the 11th century. It was supposed to be a large monastery with numerous buildings and 40 chapels. During the crusades, and then the Ottoman invasions, it was almost completely destroyed. The remains of its foundations and walls were found only in 1927.
