The 15th-century building is one of a group of French and Belgian bell towers that have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The tower has a valuable carillon, consisting of 52 bells of different sizes, on which it is possible to win melodies. In the basement of the belfry there is a former prison - now an exhibition hall.
