Chimney sweep museum

The Rauchfangkehrermuseum is a Museum of Vienna Chimneys, where visitors can see an interesting exhibition on the history of Viennese chimney sweeps over five hundred years. The museum guide tells about the history of the chimney sweep profession, as well as his tasks at the time. Old cast iron stoves and goats are presented and discussed here, which not only heated, but also decorated the old flats of Viennese. The entire professional life of the craftsman is demonstrated in exhibits and a collection of many souvenirs of chimney sweeps. Temporary exhibitions are regularly organized in the largest hall of the museum.
