Salsburg Zoo is a zoo located in the southern part of the city, in the Anif district. About 1,200 animals representing 140 species live here. lions, white rhinos, lynxes and kangaroos. There is also a mini-zoo with farm animals that can be petted, which is an attraction mainly for children.
The paddocks are built to best reflect the natural environment in which animals live. The zoo is divided into four zones: African, Eurasian, Australian and American. On some catwalks, various animals live together in the wild in a similar climate.
