Hangar-7 is a museum of aviation, where you can see a collection of historic aircraft and helicopters, as well as Formula 1 racing cars. Some of the aircraft and vehicles belonging to the collection are used for various types of shows and events, so not all will always be available for viewing.
You can also see an exhibition dedicated to the life and achievements of Felix Baumgartner, an Austrian skydiver, stuntman and BASE jumper. In addition to the exhibition of vehicles and aircraft, the museum also hosts exhibitions of contemporary art, primarily painting. These are temporary exhibitions thematically related to aviation.
The modern museum building began to arise in 1999, and the grand opening took place in 2003. The shape of the building resembles the wing of an airplane. There is also an Ikarus restaurant here, awarded by a Michelin star.
