Hellbrunn Palace Park has an area of about sixty hectares, which include green areas with walking paths and several ponds. There are carefully maintained gardens with flower beds and a large playground for children. The park also gives a very good view of the mountain panorama. Rare species of plants and butterflies can be found in the park.
Thanks to the appropriate paths in the spring and summer, the park is perfect for jogging and cycling, and in the winter season we will find specially prepared cross-country ski trails. There is also an outdoor gym.
A curiosity in the park is a picturesque wooden gazebo. You can see her in the famous American musical "The sounds of music", which takes place in Salzburg. The gazebo has a romantic kiss scene of two musical heroes, Liesl and Rolf.
