Mittelberg is an alpine village located on the German-Austrian border, in a picturesque valley, accessible only from the German side. Its surroundings are one of the largest ski regions with several hundred kilometers of slopes on both sides of the border.
The Allgäu - Tirol - Kleinwalsertal ski region offers over 300 km of perfectly groomed pistes in Austria and Germany. Both experienced and novice skiers and snowboarders will find a place for themselves. The slopes are served by several hundred cable cars and lifts, including Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal Bergbahnen, Kanzelwandbahn and Parsenn.
In addition to the slopes themselves, Mittelberg and the entire region have an excellent apres-ski offer, which includes restaurants, bars, clubs, fitness and wellness salons, swimming pools, artificial ice rinks, toboggan runs and services for attractive leisure activities. Mittelberg's attractions include snowshoeing, snowmobile and dog sledding tours.
In summer, the Mittelberg is a center for active, hiking and cycling tourism. Numerous trails await tourists, and the higher ones can be reached by all-year-round cable cars and lifts.
