The stone bridge in Mes is an old Turkish crossing of the Kir River. It is one of the best-preserved Ottoman engineering architecture buildings in the entire Balkans. The bridge has 13 spans and measures 110 meters.
The bridge was built in the 18th century on the recommendation of local feed, Kara Mahmuda Bushati. It was a crossing on an important trade route to Pristina. Currently not used. A new concrete bridge was built next to it.
The bridge consists of a large central span and 12 smaller symmetrically arranged on both sides. The middle part is arcuate, while the outside is flat. The bridge is inscribed on the list of monuments of Albania.
