Blue Eye

The source of Syri and Kalter, also called the Blue Eye, is an Albanian miracle of nature. It is located near the road from Saranda to Gijokaster. This is a small rate resulting from the outflow of spring water. It has a beautiful, blue color, looking like illuminated by a spotlight.

The source is in the forest. A marked path leads to it. The lake among the greenery looks fabulous. In sunny lighting it glows like illuminated by a spotlight from below. Blue water harmonizes with the green surroundings. The source has not been thoroughly examined yet, and it is not known how deep it is. It attracts a lot of tourists, both local and foreign.
