York's Chocolate Story

York's Chocolate Story is a chocolate museum opened in 2012. The exhibition shows the history of the production of this cocoa delicacy in the city of York. Visitors will learn about the fate of the local Rowntree factory, which was opened at the end of the 19th century (since 1988 it has belonged to Nestlé). The museum also has a well-stocked chocolate shop created in Great Britain and a café.
