Stratford Butterfly Farm

The Stratford Butterfly Farm is a group of large greenhouses recreating the tropics and seeing collections of butterflies and other insects. The whole is divided into several sections. The Flight Area is the country's largest tropical butterfly house. More than 250 different species of tropical butterflies from 20 different countries live here. About 1,500 birds fly here slowly all year round. Discovery Zone presents the life cycle of butterflies, and you can see caterpillars in different stages of development.

Metropolis Minibeast houses one of the largest insect collections in Great Britain. You can also see snakes, reptiles, amphibians and various invertebrates here. The Maya section reflects the conditions of the Central American jungle. There are replicas of artifacts from the Mayan culture. A separate exhibition is also devoted to spiders, of which there are over 15 species, including black widows and tarantulas. You can also see scorpions.
