Jack The Ripper Museum
Jack The Ripper Museum, or the Jack the Ripper Museum - the most famous serial killer in history. He prowled in 1888 around Whitechapel, killing and literally ripping prostitutes. The museum recreates scenes from the killings attributed to a never-caught criminal. The interiors are arranged like the original ones, and the participants of the events were recreated in the form of life-size wax figures.
The exhibits include handcuffs, club and whistle used by policeman Edward Watkins after discovering the body of Catherine Eddowes. The woman's throat was cut, her face was cut, her skin was stripped off, and her guts were removed. The scenery of the Leman Street police station was also reconstructed, whose officers tried unsuccessfully to solve the mystery of Jack the Ripper.
The collection of Jack The Ripper Museum is supplemented by clippings from 19th century newspapers and a large collection of copies of authentic police photographs from crime scenes. In the museum store you can buy numerous books and films about Jack the Ripper.
