Camera Obscura & World of Illusions
Camera Obscura & World of Illusions is a center of entertainment and optical illusions. You can take a virtual tour to learn about the city's history, and thanks to the telescopes on the roof you can see its panorama in 360 degrees. You can also see numerous optical illusions, look at the curved mirrors and learn the principles of physics and optics. There is also the largest hologram in Europe.
The facility was founded in 1835 by Maria Theresa Short, daughter of the inventor and designer Thomas Short. After the death of her father, she inherited the so-called The Great Telescope and opened Short's Popular Observatory, where it was the main attraction. The next step was the establishment of the Observatory and the Museum of Science and Art.
