The Smallest House In Great Britain
The house considered the smallest in Great Britain is near the walls of Conwy Castle. It is painted red. It measures just 3.05 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 3 meters high. On the ground floor there is a living area with space for coal and a fireplace and a tap hidden behind the stairs. On the first floor there is a bedroom, tourists cannot enter, only glance in front of the window while standing on the ladder. The guide wears traditional Welsh dress.
The house was built in the 16th century. It was inhabited until 1900, and its last resident was a fisherman, Robert Jones. The man was 1.91 meters tall, so he couldn't even straighten up completely. This forced him to move out, and the city council decided that the house was uninhabitable. The house is still owned by Jones' descendants.
