Zip World Penrhyn Quarry

Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is a Tyrolean train, according to the organizers, one of the fastest in the world. The Quarry Tour includes a journey through the largest shale quarry in the world. Then the descent takes place over an almost kilometer stretch at a speed of over 160 km / h, including directly over the cliff, 150 meters on the lake located in the quarry. The second, gentler option provides a descent at a speed not exceeding 72 km / h.

In addition, the resort offers the only Alpine Coaster in Great Britain. It is an adventure train, based on a traditional toboggan run, but operating on rails. Another attraction is the descent to the cave, where the journey takes place through tunnels, rope bridges and you roll. A special rope park and a playground located a dozen or so meters above the ground in the treetops have been prepared for children.

Participants receive a helmet, goggles and a flying suit resistant to wind and rain. They also undergo appropriate instruction before each activity.
