Thetford Forest Park
The largest lowland pine forest in Great Britain. It was planted artificially after World War I to create a wood reservoir for industry and construction. Currently under the care of the National Trust. Walking, cycling and horse riding routes have been marked out. A rope park and designated picnic areas operate here.
