Münster bridge

Local name: Münsterbrücke

The pedestrian and road bridge is listed in the Swiss inventory of national and regional cultural assets. The construction was initiated in 1836 by engineer Alois Negrelli. The crossing was opened two years later. The bridge crosses the Limmat River, connecting the Münsterhof and Limmatquai in the historic center of the medieval city of Zurich.
