Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso

Marian shrine located on Lake Maggiore. The church was built in the second half 15th century. This is the famous pilgrimage destination of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. A cable car from the center of Locarno leads to the sanctuary.
