Funicular Locarno - Madonna del Sasso - bottom station

The railway is 825 meters long and connects the city center with the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. Along the way, tourists can also go to one of several viewing platforms and mountain trails. The carriages that take tourists to the place of worship come from the late 1950s, and each can seat 70 passengers.
