The tower is one of the nine buildings that make up the city fortification system. It is 27.5 meters high and is the smallest of all towers. It has 9 steps that lead to the top floor. There, two windows on both sides offer a panoramic view of Lucerne, Lake Lucerne and Pilatus Mountain.
