Davos is one of the most famous alpine resorts and a world-famous conference center. In winter, it offers access to over 300 km of ski slopes and excellent apres-ski facilities, while in summer, it invites you with 700 kilometers of hiking trails and the possibility of spending time actively.
The city's showcase is the modern Conference Center, which hosts the World Economic Forum every year, hosting representatives of the most developed countries, as well as the financial and business cream from around the world. However, this is only part of the picture of this highest situated city in Europe. In addition to fairs, conferences and international meetings, tourism reigns here, both in winter and summer.
The extensive Davos-Klosters ski area extends around the town. There are over 300 km of downhill runs for skiers and snowboarders, snow parks, 75 km of cross-country ski runs, as well as over 150 km of trails prepared for winter hiking, including snowshoeing. In addition to the ski areas, there are also ice rinks, dog sled routes and a wide range of entertainment and dining options.
In summer, Davos is also full of attractions. They are mainly related to the possibilities of spending time actively. The area gives access to over 700 km of hiking trails of varying difficulty. Many of them can be reached by cable cars. The surrounding valleys with beautiful alpine meadows are equally attractive. You can go there on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage. A very famous recreational place is the Schatzalp mountain with the Alpinarium Schatzalp botanical garden, funicular railway and a summer toboggan run. You can also take advantage of the Eau-La-La water park and the Davos Farich Adventure Park.
