Palatinate

The observation deck high above the Rhine is located near the place where the former bishop's palace was once located. On one side of the observation deck you can see the stairs leading to the harbor of the Münster ferry. On the other side there is a small gate leading to the cloister of the cathedral. It is also worth paying attention to the richly decorated tombstones of members of prominent Basel families from the 16th to the 19th century.
