The most important exhibitions of the museum are dedicated to Agnes de Frumerie (1869-1937), a Swedish artist, pioneer in the use of glass as an artistic material and the history of the region. Adjacent to the main building of the museum is a picturesque open-air museum, presenting rural wooden architecture that is no longer present in the landscape of Sweden.
