Löttorp is a holiday village in Öland. In its vicinity there are beaches and many areas suitable for active recreation.
Like the rest of Öland, Löttorp is currently focused primarily on tourism. It is one of Sweden's most popular holiday destinations and the island is easily accessible thanks to a bridge built north of Kalmar.
The surrounding coastline has many sandy beaches, such as Byrums Sandvik Beach. They are undeveloped, but very clean. Lifeguards are on duty in some of them in the summer. Another highlight of Löttorp is the Lådbilslandet Öland family amusement park. It is intended mainly for younger children who can drive cars, climb rope ladders, play on themed playgrounds or take part in animated games.
In the vicinity of Löttorp, you can visit the Skäftekärr Archaeological Open-Air Museum, which shows the remains of an Iron Age settlement. The ruins of Skurverket Windmill in Jordhamn are also located on the seafront.
