Gothenburg Mosque

Gothenburg Mosque stands at the foot of Mount Ramberget. It was built in 2011 according to a design by Björn Sahlqvist, which combines traditional Islamic architecture with Scandinavian elements. Within the mosque there are prayer rooms for men and women, conference and lecture rooms, and a square minaret. The construction of the temple was financed by the authorities of Saudi Arabia.
