Cartuja de Vallparadís Castle

The first records of Vallparadís Castle date back to 1100, when it was built by the wealthy Tarras family. Later it served as a hermitage, monastery, farmhouse, and finally became the seat of a museum. The City Art Museum was opened in 1959. There is a permanent exhibition and a temporary exhibition hall where collections of archaeological and art objects are displayed.
