TALAVERA DE LA REINASpain
Prado Gardens
Local name: Jardines del Prado
In 1928, the park was opened to the public and was dubbed the "Gardens of Alphonsus XIII". The design uses mainly French motifs, although the influences of European and Islamic gardens can also be found here. There are several monuments and buildings in the park, the most important of which is the Basilica of Our Lady of Prado, patron saint of the city of Talavera.
