Arab Walls

The walls surrounding Talavera de la Reina date back to the 9th-10th centuries, when the oldest parts of the defense system were built. The most characteristic elements are the Towers of Albarran and today they are the showcase of the city. This wall is probably the only one of its kind that has been preserved in Spain.
