San Ildefonso

The Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildenfonso together with the adjacent gardens was built in the 18th century in the vicinity of the city. The building is a perfect example of the combination of French and Spanish Baroque, and was modeled on the Versailles Palace. For this reason, he was called the "Versailles of Spain".
