Gardens of the Royal Palace of la Granja

The gardens of La Granja Palace were commissioned by the Spanish king Philip V at the beginning of the 18th century. The French-style garden was designed by René Carlier. Characteristic of the place are fountains made of lead and marble statues, which are the best preserved sculptural group of their time.
