The church Kajetana, known as the church of San Millán y San Cayetano is a beautiful baroque temple in Madrid, since 1980 inscribed on the list of cultural monuments of the Bien de Interés Cultural. The construction of the church was started by architect Marcos López in 1669. Francisco de Moradillo worked on the decorative, granite facade. Above the arcades there are statues of St. Kajetan, Our Lady of Grace and Saint. Andrés Avelino by Pedro Alonso de los Ríos.
The church Kajetan was built next to the now defunct convent of Nuestra Señora del Favor (Our Lady of Grace). It was built in the place of the oratory dedicated to Saint. Marek and the patron of the monastery - Our Lady of Grace. The temple is dedicated to the founder of the Teatines, St. Cajetan of Thiene.
This monument did not escape the fate of many other Madrid churches. The fire of July 1936 destroyed it almost completely, only the facade survived. In 1960, the reconstruction of the temple began.
