Mexuar is the oldest room in the Nasrydów Palace. Meetings of royal ministers were held in the room. It was also the place where the sultan administered justice. The symbol of the object is the characteristic, raised chamber with bars, in which the sultan listened to the inhabitants.
The richly decorated interior is the result of a number of renovations made between the 16th and 20th centuries. The hall was built in the first half Fourteenth century by order of King Ismail. Its name comes from the Arabic word 'Maswar'.
Mirhab is also located in Mexuar. This small mosque is not currently open to the public, but you can look inside through the open door.
