Serra de Mariola Natural Park

Parc Natural de la Serra de Mariola is a mountain range in Valencia that is recognized as a protected landscape area. More than 1,200 plant species grow here, the Aleppo pine dominates. Many archaeological sites have been discovered in the park, indicating that the area was already inhabited in the Palaeolithic. The valuable souvenirs include the Cava Gran, i.e. the remains of a 15th-century building that used to be an ice shop in the old days.
