Sierra del Maigmó

Serra del Maigmó y Serra del Sit is a natural protected area with one of the largest forest complexes in Valencia (pine and oak forests). The most important peak is Maigmó (1296 meters above sea level). Tourists can take advantage of the many well-groomed hiking trails and visit interesting sites with a long history, such as the medieval Castle of Petrer and the San Rafael aqueduct from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. It's also a paradise for climbers (climbing areas include Foradà and Penya del Corb, among others).
