Jardins de Vil·la Cecília are gardens created in 1986 in a postmodern style. Decorative lanterns resembling trees, as well as a bronze sculpture entitled "Ophelia ofegada" ("Drowned Ofelia") by Francisco Lopez Hernandez, attract attention. At the entrance from Santa Amelia Street, you can admire an installation in the form of giant ginkgo biloba leaves.
The gardens offer a recreation area for guests of all ages. There is a petanque playing field, a playground for children, and in winter you can use the ice rink. The vegetation is dominated by tall Canary Island date trees, cypresses and plane trees.
The gardens were designed by José Antonio Martínez Lapeña and Elías Torres. The land on which they were founded belonged to Eduardo Conde, owner of the El Siglo chain of stores. The name of this place is derived from the name of his wife.
