Casa Batlló is a residential building located in the heart of the modernist district of Barcelona. Is one of the finest works of the outstanding architect - Antoni Gaudi, who designed not only the object itself, but also details of interior design, e.g. furniture or lighting. The tenement house has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005.
The building has an extremely decorative facade. The building's face is decorated with elements referring to animal motifs, among others bones or scales. Colorful ceramic tiles were used as the material, which take on different shades depending on the sunlight.
Casa Batlló consists of five floors. On the first floor you can admire the glazed gallery supported by columns resembling bones. On the top floor there are balconies referring to carnival masks, and the irregular and wavy roof of the object itself looks like scales on a dragon's ridge.
