Jardí Botànic de Barcelona, or the Barcelona Botanical Garden, is located on the Montjuïc hill. A curiosity of the garden are redwoods, eucalyptus, Chilean San Pedro cacti and red-blooming coral trees. Agaves and yucca are represented here in large numbers. The garden has a wide view of the city.
It is worth paying attention to the vegetation accumulated in the special section, these are examples of the unusual flora of the Canary Islands, specimens such as tabaiba and violet blooms grow here. The total area of the garden is 14 hectares.
Visitors can admire not only the vegetation characteristic of the Mediterranean region, but also examples of flora from other continents. The garden area is divided into several sectors in which various areas of the world are represented, including Chile, California, Australia.
