The House of Science was opened in 1983 and was the first interactive museum in Spain. The seat of the House of Science is a palace located in the heart of Santa Margarita Park. The building was transformed and extended according to the design of the Spanish architect Felipe Peña Pereda. The museum was inaugurated by the King of Spain - Juan Carlos I.
