Xardíns de Méndez Núñez in A Coruna are beautiful gardens that were created in honor of the hero of the fight for the Pacific - Casto Méndez Núñez. You can admire a floral clock and calendar, as well as unique specimens of tall palm trees - Canary date palms. Among the local architecture, the modernist Kiosco Alfonso exhibition pavilion (designed by Rafael González Villar from 1912) and A Terazza - a building with turrets by Antonio de Mesa stand out. Monuments and statues have been set up near the alleys.
