The church was built by construction master Pavel Konc in the second half of the Sixteenth century In the seventeenth century, it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Originally, the interior was decorated with many valuable paintings, some of which were missing, including work of Vittore Carpaccio, depicting St. Antoni Pustelnik. Currently, the most valuable canvas is a painting of the Virgin Mary from 1600.
