Vratna free time zone is one of the largest ski resorts in Slovakia. There are almost 20 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty. An additional advantage of the place is its location in the picturesque Vratna Valley in Mala Fatra. In addition to traditional ski runs, the resort also has cross-country ski runs and a snow park for lovers of hummock riding.
Vratna Valley cuts deep into the limestone hills of Mala Fatra. The ski resort is divided into several parts for skiers and snowboarders with different skills. The most difficult routes are located on the slopes of the Chleb and Krivan mountains. There are the steepest slopes in the whole of Slovakia. Access to the routes is provided by a gondola lift. There are also very difficult routes for skiing and snowboarding.
Easier routes can be found in the areas of Pasieki and Południowy Groń. They are also suitable for children. With them in mind, several ski schools operate throughout the resort. Vratna has very good accommodation and catering facilities. Rental and maintenance services also operate here.
