Zoo Kontakt

Zoo Kontakt is located in Liptovský Mikuláš, near the Tatralandia water park. It is a facility where you can experience direct contact with animals, both exotic and popular species in our climate zone. Visitors can look after many species of animals up close, and part of the enclosures and aviaries can even be entered.

The Kontakt Zoo was established to introduce visitors to the diversity of life on earth. About 400 animals from over 100 species live here. Sharks and other aquatic animals from distant Australia live in large aquariums. Free range and aviaries are the kingdom of birds and mammals. Some of them like deer, roe deer or fallow deer can be found in our forests. There is also a place for exotic species.

The idea of the zoo is for everyone to learn about animal life from as close a distance as possible. From here, harmless, tamed birds and mammals can be freely entered. Some of them come to the person, sitting on their shoulders or head.
