Copou Park

The historic park was founded in 1834 and is the oldest public park in the city. In its center stands a nineteenth-century obelisk measuring 13.5 m high. The Mihai Eminescu Museum is also located here. Numerous busts and sculptures were placed in the park. Poetry festivals, photo exhibitions and arts and crafts fairs are regularly organized here.
