Church of the Presentation of Mary

The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the Ghia Valley, adjacent to only a few farms. It was built in 1738 on the site of an older temple. In 1904, it was renovated with a sign hanging above the entrance door.

The church was built of wood on a rectangular plan. There is no belfry and its steep roof is covered with old shingles now covered with sheet metal. There are paintings depicting Christ, the apostles and prophets, as well as the scene of the Crucifixion. The most valuable icons are those dedicated to St. Nicholas and Our Lady. They are located on the side walls of the nave and come from the mid-18th century.
