The Evangelical Church in the center of Bistrita was built in 1564. Its architecture clearly shows Gothic and Renaissance elements. The church tower is 75 meters high and is the tallest medieval tower in Romania. On its top there is a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the entire city. You can go up there by elevator.
While visiting the temple, it is worth paying attention to the carved benches equipped with a canopy. They were made in the 16th century by Johannes Begler and are considered a masterpiece of Renaissance furniture.
