Pico Ruivo 1862 m

The highest peak in Madeira measures 1862 m above sea level. It can be reached by one of three routes - the most difficult of them leads from Pico to Arieiro, and the easiest from Achad to Teixeira. From the top there is a picturesque, panoramic view of a large part of the island and its coast.
