Pico do Areeiro

The viewpoint is located on the second highest peak in Madeira, at an altitude of 1818 m above sea level. The panoramas stretching out from here cover the entire central, mountainous part of the island. At the point also begins a wonderful, scenic trail leading to Pico Ruivo with an altitude of 1862 m above sea level
