Museum of Sacred Art and Archeology is located in the seventeenth-century wing of the former Jesuit college of St. Lawrence. You can find here extremely, rich and diverse collections - paintings, a gallery of religious sculptures from the period from the 13th to the 19th century, illuminated manuscripts, jewelry, liturgical vestments and religious decorations. There is also a room dedicated entirely to the artist Irene Vilar, housing the collection of his works.
Tourists visiting this museum have the opportunity to gain a general look at cultural transformation and changes in art over the centuries. In addition to sacred art, there is also a section on archeology, from prehistory to the end of the Roman Empire, as well as wood and limestone figurines from the Middle Ages. The museum is open to the public. All exhibits are in an artistically arranged space.
