Feira da Ladra, or Flea Market in Campo de Santa Clara, is a famous street market. This is one of the most traditional and old fairs taking place in Lisbon. Everything can be found in Feira da Ladra. New and used items, antiques, handicrafts, souvenirs typical of Portugal are sold here. The market takes place every Tuesday and Saturday, from dawn to dusk (depending on weather conditions).
Feira da Ladra is a popular street market where trade is not only at stands; items intended for sale are often also found on the ground. The fair occupies a large space, there is a unique atmosphere here that makes this place a tourist attraction of Lisbon.
From the market there is an impressive view of the church of Santa Engracia and the National Pantheon, which contains the graves of several Portuguese presidents. Nearby is the Church of São Vicente de Fora - a monastery from the 16th century with a unique tiled design.
